With the aim of meeting housing needs, this redevelopment project takes into account the requirements of the location and the local urban and landscape setting, and benefits from the fact that it is adjacent to a large center of common life, in a historic agglomeration of the city of Lisbon.
The result of the annexation of two buildings, this development makes up the block flanked to the southeast by Rua Nova de Palma de Baixo and Largo de Palma and to the southwest by Rossio de Palma. One of the buildings dates back to 1887 and the other to the beginning of the 20th century. It was necessary to gain an in-depth understanding of the materials and construction techniques of the respective eras in order to enhance the built heritage without detracting from its historical and emotional value.

The bright colors of the façade and the blue-painted wooden openings with limestone frames ensure that the concepts of identity and memory come together in contemporary lines with the urban layout, fully integrating the new building into the surrounding landscape.
